Located in central Kentucky, a kennel born out of my passion for ruffed grouse hunting.  The whole reason for me having dogs is to hunt grouse, and the whole purpose of hunting grouse is the dogs.   Growing up in eastern Kentucky and a grouse hunter since the early 1970's.  Got my first dog in 1973. I wanted grouse dogs that are classy, biddible, easy broke, and find birds and hold them till I get there to flush.  These are some of the best dogs I have ever hunted behind.  I believe you will find their puppies will make great birddogs that hunt for you and find birds. McGoo's Elhew Kia Sire: Ol' Drummer's Stoney  (Son of Elhew Mr. McGoo) and a great  grouse dog.  When I bought Kia as a pup little did I know she would become my greatest grouse dog ever.  She will find and point more than her share of grouse on any hunt.  She was more stanch on point than any pup I ever saw.  When Kia points she is there to stay.  What a blessing she is and she started it all.

Dixie is one of the newest additions.  She started off doing what we love to do grouse hunt.  She is a very active chop the woods up kind of dog that requires no handling.  She has pointed grouse, wild coveys of quail.  A natural retriver and backs.  She loves people.  Dixie is a littermate to McGoo's Elhew Kia, and like Kia she points to stay. Note: Dixie has been bred to Cage from the heart of our grouse dogs.

Coy is a son of Elhew Hit Man X Team Elhew MaeC (Elhew Mr. McGwire x McGoo's Elhew Kia).  He is a great young dog that has pointed grouse and wild quail.  Super classy on point and running.  Has a great personality.  He points to stay, hunts hard but with you.  Is on his way to becoming a great grouse dog.
